Originaly from Vankleek Hill, Ontario, Dylan Black (http://bit.ly/DylanBlackLinkedIn) is a huge supporter of The
Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (having participated in 22 telethons), The Make-A-Wish and The Max Keeping Fund at CHEO.
Dylan aims to attend hundreds of community minded events a year and has been a big supporter of #eSAX since 2012! He’s also donated whole blood ~100 times, and in 2015 was awarded a United Way “Community Builder Award”. Dylan is also a recipient of recognition in the categories of “Humanitarian, Volunteer and Emcee of the Year” in Ottawa and in November 2017 was awarded the prestigious Corus Entertainment Show We Care Award. In 2018 he was nominated for a “Premier’s
Award”. 2019 saw Dylan being presented a “Mayor’s City Builder Award”.
Dylan also serves as an Announcer and Assistant Music Director with boom
99.7 FM radio as well as the Host of “daytime” at Rogers TV on Cable 22. He is also the Director of Community Events and Fundraising at Yuk Yuk’s comedy club. In 2017, Dylan’s son Maxwell James was born and named after Order of Canada recipient Max Keeping and his father James.
